The OKU Benefits is a special programme offered by MYNIC for eligible Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) to register or renew .my (individual) domain names.
Eligible OKU applicants can claim a rebate of 50% of the retail price per domain name, subject to a maximum rebate of RM60 per domain name per year.

This programme is open to Malaysian citizens with disabilities who:
- Hold a valid OKU Identification Card issued by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM)
- Are at least 18 years old
The rebate applies to 2LD .my (individual) domain names.
I am a disabled person and the owner of a business entity. Can I apply this benefit for my business?
No. This programme is strictly for individuals holding a valid OKU ID. It does not apply to business entities or organisations.
Yes, you may claim the rebate if your domain name is registered under the OKU Benefits programme. Renewals must be processed from January 2026 onwards through MYNIC Accredited Registrars.
The rebate is calculated as 50% of the registrar’s retail price per registration or renewal, subject to a maximum rebate of RM60 per domain name per year.
Important Notes:
· Retail price refers to the domain registration or renewal fee charged by the registrar, excluding Service Tax (ST).
· This rebate is claim-based only and is not automatically applied.
· The rebate cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
· The rebate does not apply to premium domain names.

Each eligible applicant may claim rebates for up to five (5) .my domain names.
Yes. The rebate applies to multi-year registrations and renewals and is calculated based on the total retail price paid, up to the maximum amount as per Terms and Conditions.
1. Register or renew your .my domain name through MYNIC Accredited Registrars.
2. Download and complete the OKU Rebate Claim Form.
3. Email the completed form to customercare@mynic.my together with:
· Copy of MYKAD
· Copy of OKU Identification Card issued by JKM
· Proof of payment (invoice and receipt)

Yes. All rebate claims must be submitted within one (1) year from the domain registration or renewal date.
Once reviewed and approved, the rebate will be credited to the applicant’s bank account within 30 days.
No. The rebate will only be credited to a bank account under the applicant’s name only. Payments to third-party accounts or via alternative payment channels (including e-wallets) are not allowed.
