Terms & Conditions - OKU Benefits


  1. The OKU Benefits offers eligible Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) a rebate for 2LD .my (individual) domain name registrations and renewals, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
  2. This benefit is open to Malaysian individuals aged 18 years and above who hold a valid MYKAD and a valid OKU Card issued by Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM).
  3. Eligible .my domain names must be registered or renewed through MYNIC Accredited Registrars, and it is limited to individual (a la carte) domain name registrations and renewals only.
  4. The rebate applies only to new domain name registrations and renewals processed from January 2026 onwards.
  5. Rebate amount:
    • The rebate is calculated at 50% of the registrar’s retail price (excluding Service Tax), subject to a maximum rebate of RM60 per domain name per year.
    • No rebate is applicable for retail prices below RM80.
  6. The rebate does not apply to premium domain names.
  7. The rebate cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions or packages.
  8. This benefit is strictly claim-based only and is not automatically deducted at the point of domain name registration or renewal.
  9. All required supporting documents must be submitted together with the rebate claim.
  10. Claims must be submitted within one (1) year from the registration or renewal date.
  11. Approved rebates will be credited to a bank account under the applicant’s name only. Payments to third-party accounts or via alternative payment channels (including e-wallets) are not allowed.
  12. Approved rebates will be credited within thirty (30) days from the date of approval.
  13. MYNIC reserves the right to approve or reject any claim where the information provided is incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate or cannot be verified.
  14. Each eligible applicant may claim rebates for up to five (5) .my domain names.
  15. This benefit is offered as a lifetime programme, subject to MYNIC’s right to revise the programme or its Terms & Conditions in the future.
