MYNIC wishes to inform customers of changes to the OKU Benefits programme, effective 22 January 2026.

What Is Changing?

Since its introduction in 2020, eligible OKU applicants were able to register .MY domain name at a discounted rate via prime.mynic.my. Effective 22 January 2026, eligible OKU registrants can enjoy OKU Benefits when they register or renew .MY domain names through MYNIC Accredited Registrars, subject to rebate claim.

The eligible rebate amount is 50% of the price paid to the registrar, capped at RM60, whichever lesser, subject to eligibility and verification.

Why the Change?

This change is intended to provide greater flexibility and choice by allowing OKU applicants to register through any MYNIC Accredited Registrars and to ensure wider accessibility to the .MY domain ecosystem.
