Registry Policy
This Policy aims to set MYNIC’s roles and responsibilities as the Registry to manage the .MY domain and ongoing registry operations include providing registry services while ensuring stability, security & integrity of the registry database.
Registrar Policy
The purpose of this policy is to emphasize the role of an accredited Registrar in the .MY domain name business, outlining the accreditation requirements from business, operational, and technical perspectives.
Acceptable Use & Abuse Policy
The Policy is to set rules, general principles, and procedural steps governing how the Registrant may or may not use the registered domain names for any illegal purposes in contravention to the Malaysian law.
Data Protection Policy This policy applies to all personal data collected, used, disclosed and managed by MYNIC in rendering MYNIC’s services such as the registration of .MY domain name. “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identifiable individual which is collected and further processed by MYNIC to provide MYNIC’s services.
Data Processing Terms and Conditions
The Data Processing Terms and Conditions sets out how MYNIC and/or Registrar collects, stores, and handles personal data of individuals in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) and its subsidiary legislation in rendering the .MY domain name registration services.
.MY Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy
This Policy aims to provide simple, fast, and affordable resolution of .MY Domain Name disputes and to protect the Intellectual Property rights of an entity or an individual. It governs the terms of resolving a dispute between the Respondent of a .MY Domain Name and the Complainant over the Respondent’s registration and/or use of a Domain Name.
.MY Domain Name Dispute Resolution Rules
These Rules spell out the administration of .MY Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy by MYNIC Service Provider (Asian International Arbitration Center, AIAC).
Registrant Agreement This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions which govern the registration and/or renewal of the registration of domain names end with .my.
Triple I Policy and Process This process allows the public to lodge a complaint on a domain names end with .my which has been registered based on incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information, which may result in the suspension and deletion of the domain name.
Regulated Names Policy and Process This process allows government agencies or regulators to request the deregistration or suspension of certain domain names end with .my that fall within their jurisdiction and are in breach of a statutory provision of law.
